Murder accused paralympian Oscar Pistorius wants to sell his house in Pretoria where model Reeva Steenkamp was shot dead, a family spokesman said on Monday.

"He has signalled his intention to sell [the house], but nothing has been done pro-actively to start the process," Johan van Wyk said.

He said the family would issue a statement on the matter soon.
