I'll also be getting the PC version, as I have no current gen console. I may wait for the World Cup game though, if EA ever announce it.

I would, if I was 18+, but alas, I am not.

To those who think Fifa doesn't change, it does. Looking at metascores you'll see it has gone up year after year for the last three years. The way the game plays has also changed fundementally since they changed the development team. It has become much more realistic and unpredictable.

I used to hate fifa and prefer Pro Evo by some distance - that is also what most critics thaught. But ea has really turned fifa around while konami has been lax with pro evo.

... i'd agree though that the series stood still from about 99 to 06.

Football manager beats it hands down. Eidos may have kept the naming rights but we all know sports interactive still produces the better game even if they have to use a different name now.

Why would you get fifa and not pes 2010?? PES is the better game on pc by quite a margin. EA will give you a wc game they need to cash in like always, it will be available a month before the tournament starts.

Maybe on console but that's simple not the case on pc. The pc version has been mostly the same for the last 5 years with the odd change here and there. PES even if 2008 and 2009 where disappointing compared to pes 6 still beat fifa silly on the pc. Also most critics only review the console version, the few sites that I have seen review the pc version gave it a 3.5/10 and 6/10.
