We had footies night last week and a friend got fifa 10 on xbox, so we played and i must admit there were a lot of small improvements but those little changes made a big difference in the game for me.

I love Fifa 2010 on PS3!!! Started my virtual pro career last night, you start playing for the reserves of the team of your choice and then work your way up. You have various accomplishments to achieve. Enough to keep me busy for awhile as well as challenge me.
If you have an HD set, visually the game looks awesome.
Fifa used to be boring ping pong soccer, but that has changed. I think EA really took a risk when they made it more of a simulation - but it paid off (see 92 on metacritic). Essentially, they are now beating PES at their own game. They've also totally revived their NHL series. I don't really like EA, but they have done excellent work on these two games in recent years. They've been less progressive with Madden and Tiger Woods though.
I take the point though that they have focussed on consoles and neglected the pc version of fifa.
How much the quality of the game has to do with the sales is another question though. I suspect anual sales are much rather driven by marketting and the need to play with up to date rosters etc.
Neglected is not the word to describe what EA sports have done with the pc version. Neglected is when a company doesn't give you a proper interface for a port. The rubbish EA sports provides us deserves a lot stronger word than neglected. Fifa is the only game under the EA brand where we get a ps2 port and not an xbox 360 port. All other games are either like in DAO's case a master pc version or a proper xbox 360 port. Fifa is the only game which has worse gfx on pc then on the console.
Konami gives us pc gamers the same game across all platforms.

I would say Take2 or BT Games, but I could be wrong
