R55 and an afternoon free project

I decided to finish studying in the library early this afternoon so I went through to an electronics store and picked up 6 super bright LEDs and some shrink tubing. Then using some scrap wire and an old 4 pin peripheral plug I did this.
I wired the 6 LEDs in series and then wired them to the connector and as simple as that I had a Lighting mod I'm pretty proud off:D

I know my cable work is messy but I am saving up for a bigger cases.

use those small black cable ties that came with your psu for the cablework, they work wonders.

Thanks I'll look into getting those.

My next idea is to get them to either pulse or sinc up with the sound output.
 
I like red, reminds me of my schoolboy days and I think red and black look awesome together
 
Nice work Ike
One word of warning regarding syncing with your sound output, I did that one of my cases once and it turned out to be much less of a great idea in practice than in theory :/
The continuous flicker caused mind numbing headaches in less time than it takes for you to complete a level on a title that is really sound intense.
* I used a variable controller to sync up the sound with the internal lights

I would suggest rather looking into configuring the lighting to have a slow steady pulse instead, I've found this to be less of an irritation on the eyes over long periods infront of the PC
