This is really fucking low of Kotaku. If they had been granted rights to an exclusive review, they wouldn't have hesitated, but now it's been given to IGN and now they want to shit their little underpants.

I'm not going to lie, I found the review to be rather funny, I also think it may be in simple jest. Although, if they also made a noise about it on twitter, well, that's another story.

Yeah, the review itself would have been funny had I not known the context within which it was written. Basically a bunch of gaming journalists from different sites lambasted IGN for getting and taking the exclusive review. Now this isn't a bad thing, because I think exclusive reviews are pretty shit myself, but none of the sites these journalists write for would have passed up the opportunity for an exclusive review themselves.
