Demon's Souls' intro is pretty awesome, and so is the menu music in Two Worlds, but I think WET probably has some of the best in-game music around.

CNC1 had some lekker pumping music. Part of the fail (for me) with titles after Red Alert was the absense of the rock/fast paced music in all CNC titles.

NFSIISE had some lekker tunes.

Quake 1 with the NIN Soundtrack was lekker

I liked the whole sci-fi techno for tib sun I forgot about unreal tournament 1 That had some really cool tunes.

I'd have to say Final Fantasy 8, and I agree with Maplassie C&C 1 had great soundtracks.
