COD4 and Win 8

Just a dumb question, but wont it work if you run it in compatability mode?

Before the update it did not work in compatibilituy mode and you had to alt tab out of the game to get the mouse to work.

Clean reinstall of COD4 with patches and newest PB works well problem is sorted.
