So everyone else loving the counter knifing?
Something I mentioned LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG ago I wished they brought into games like COD where knifing pisses me off!
I think I'll need an upgrade before I can play this - my old CPU and RAM limit the game to between 27-35FPS and there's no difference in framerate whether it's high or low settings.
Hey guys. I need some advice. Here's my rig:
- i7 2600k 3.4GHz (stock)
- GeForce 660 Ti 2GB
- 8 GB DDR3 RAM
- Standard 7200rpm hdd
I can run battlefield 3 at high-ultra at 60 fps
I tried the beta for BF4 last night and the results were horrifying.
I had terrible lag. The auto video settings set everything to high/ultra.
But even when I set everything down to low I still had lag. It was less, but definitely still there.
I've updated my driver to the latest NVidia driver 327.23. That didn't help.
And according to the scoreboard my ping is 10.
Any ideas?
Update to these drivers GeForce 331.40
They are beta drivers specifically made for BF4/Beta.
1 660ti will not be able to run the game on ultra as well, never trust auto settings bud.
Try sticking to 32 man servers during the beta, 64 player maps are really bad at the moment as far as performance goes.
Then wait for release and see how it performs.
I love the way recon feels in BF4 now.
Feels weird having to learn the new bullet drop on the rifles now but hey, it's challenging.
Went a round playing recon only here:

Thinking of filming some gameplay for lols.
There is something wrong there bud.
Define without a hitch?
I've tested the game with a 7970, a gtx670, a gtx780 so far.
Avg wise the 780 was slightly faster than the 7970 but it was still a little choppy, I also know its still a beta so there is that xD
Also when you say Ultra, do you mean just ultra with no eye candy enabled?
