Well in some instances in BF4 it happens too with the netcode being fucked and all. i have sniped right through a guy that the bullet actually hits the ground behind him then i go from torso shot to head shot and it's a kill. or you unload 6 shells of a shotgun into someone point blank and they just look at you and kill you
