GREAT STUFF
Holy F****?
Cheapest GTX660 cost R2700. Why would you buy this then, unless you have a PSU that cant support a GTX 660.
*Edit*
Either it's crap driver support, or it's just crappy. Initial results are not looking too good? - When comparing it to a GTX 660. The 7790 seems to be holding it's own very well.

I retract my statement about the PSU requirements.
According to Nvidia's website the 560 TI boost and the 660 require a 450W PSU.

I wouldn't touch the 650. IMHO rather go ATI if you can't get a 670OC...

I was in a hurry to reply
6XX range is AFAIK the first range for NV to use what ATI already did in the 48XX; dynamic gpu adjustment to save power. Sure this was not present in the 5xx range or the 4xx range. I myself have a 670OC and would have rather gone ATI if i knew this, because it introduces issues and there was a lot of nv divers to "fix" this which it has to a degree, but there is still some that it doesn't. Besides even after OCing my OC, I'm still think that ATI would have been better in so many ways. Current build: I7 3770K, 8GB 1600, ForceGT SSD, Asrock Z68.
I had a bad time with my 4850HD it just wouldn't get past its "powerplay" bug, this was because of the GPU being dynamic. In the end I fixed it with going to 260gtx. Sadly that BFG stopped making cards
Above and the lacking bus of the 660/650 is why I would rather say get an ATI because they seem better. In the long run the 660 and below with its bus will be outdone by those above it. Sure 4K is a lot and if you can't then you can't no one is deputing that fact.
I hope this clears up some of reasons why I would say stay clear and it doesn't involve any from of epeen...

I see now, makes more sense!
Power play was a bitch to try and play games with. My HD 4670 would just die and lock up mid game because the GPU power draw dipped and it thought it did not need any more power. Needless to say I eventually got a new card when I upgraded GTS 450 now a GTX 560.
I just think this card is really unnecessary with a GTX 650 and GTX 660, I don't see a need for a card in between. The GTX 650 does well up to 1900 x 600 with most modern games. Then if you want Ultra at 1080 the GTX 660+ is there for that purpose.
It could work if the chop off all the cards in-between but then again, people like to have a choice of what they want, sometimes having too much can also be a bit problematic.
