It would be nice to have games which are made for the PC and then ported to consoles, not the other way around. I think they really sacrifice a lot of freedom when designing games first and foremost for a console.
I instantly lost the last shred of interest I had when they admitted that Garrett will enter into third-person view mode the moment he engages in combat.
Watching the development of this game is like watching a train speed along a track at high speed while there's a giant 10m thick brick wall 100m down the tracks. They're trying their utmost best to convince everyone that this will be a great game, but the people who should be interested (original franchise fans) simply aren't. They keep on harping on about how much they love the franchise. Guess they love it so much that they're ripping out everything that makes Thief, Thief.
They might as well just call this game Thief: Not Really Thief.

I am glad they think so, let us just hope that ends being the case with an all talk all action attitude.
