Holy crap.The demo was rendered internally at 3K resolution (around 3200 x 2000 pixels), which was downscaled to 1080p at 60 frames per second.
Thats GFX ram...no good for VMs. 12 gigs of (non-gfx) ram isn't that expensive though...like 400 bucks or something.
They prob took that choice because they wanted 2x gfx processing power. The 2x ram was just a side-effect. Pretty sure you could pull off identical results with 3-4 gigs.
