The sad truth is, this implies developers don't need to spend on DRM, they also don't need to take any flak for it, because it's all the platform. So ironically this might make such a platform VERY attractive to the publishers. Microsoft can actually do this and throw this right in the face of Sony , we all know a console is 100% about the games. If the games are only coming out on 1 console because it ensures better sales, guess what, we'll all be applying the vaseline....
Another point in favour of my argument. Either way if developers make more money or save money it will benefit gaming.
An always online xbox would be awesome, if, we did'nt have to pay for the internet. The just don't seem to realaize that there are a lot of people that can't afford the kind of internet that can be always connected...
The sad part is they do realize it, they just don't care. What's the sales of a country like South Africa when they're aiming at first world countries?
