I'm on PSN as Ulvenkai. I'm not a big console gamer though, so don't hate me.
Currently raging at Sony since they don't allow region migration (read: one "EU" country to another).
This means that:
1. I cannot use my Swedish credit card to buy games.
2. I cannot buy games available in Sweden that aren't available in South Africa.
The official "solution" to this is: "Create a new account."
And while I couldn't care less about achievements, it pisses me off that I'm expected to just throw away around R2,000 worth of digital purchases via the PSN store and lose my alias.
Um, I don't think so.
When the hell will Sony catch up with Microsoft? I could change my XBOX Live/Windows account in a heartbeat.
And the fact that there are Sony/PlayStation fanbois who run screaming to the defence of Sony saying, "oh noes, it's too difficult to implement, just create a new account" or "oh noes, they wud haz to makes region-exclusive stuff deleteds!" and all sorts of other pathetic excuses just irritates me even more.
What is wrong with people? How can they not accept that a flawed, broken and incompetent system is flawed, broken and incompetent? Goddamned mindless sheep.
I dig the PlayStation but good lord, it has some seriously draconian aspects to it.
