I get the 20 post minimum thing but is there anyway to see how many posts I have?

and isn't there a better way to filter out undesirables? I don't wanna be that guy that spams threads just so I can pimp my profile.

Well you can count your own posts. Or you can look right underneath your name if you're really lazy.
