EA dropping gun brand names in games

EA paid them to use their gun names. Otherwise gun manufacturers could sue them. Like if beforehand they called a .50 cal sniper rifle a McMillan Tac-50 , it will now be changed to just 50 cal sniper.

Strange - I would have thought the gun makers would want the publicity & hence paid EA.
