Damn...anybody know which country's diplomats those are? Looks like something African...

Just in case anybody is wondering about the whole diplomatic immunity thing, allow me to enlighten my fellow forumites:
It prevents them being charged with crimes of any kind. Meaning that SA courts have no power over them. However the country which is *sending* the diplomat can
1) Charge them in their own courts
2) Renounce the diplomatic immunity - e.g. if they murder someone. Then its game over for the diplomat. No immunity & your home country abandoned you.

For lesser crimes, the diplomat is either recall (huge disgrace) or faces internal embassy disciplinary processes. For 1st world countries these internal processes have serious consequences, so generally their diplomats won't push things further than say breaking a few traffic laws (speeding). For African countries its a throw of the dice...there is a good chance of *nothing* happening to them.
