Default Battlestar Producer to Take Over Falling Skies

Battlestar Galactica co-executive producer and Caprica co-creator David Eick is set to take over Falling Skies as the executive producer and showrunner, Deadline reports. Eick will replace Remo Aubuchon, his Caprica co-creator/executive producer. Aubuchon has served as the showrunner on TNT’s alien invasion series for two seasons.

The show, which is executive produced by Steven Spielberg and stars Noah Wyle, is the network’s #1 unscripted drama and, though the Season 3 two-hour premiere will not debut until June 9, it is already expected to receive a Season 4 renewal. Eick will likely be putting together a writing staff to work on Season 4 in fairly short order as the long post-production process on the series requires them to get a very early jump on things to prevent too long a gap in between seasons.
Say Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat Seriously one of the best shows on TV

could be either very good or very bad... I'm just glad it hasn't been cancelled yet like some of Spielberg's other TV shows
