Watched the Hobbit 2 great movie really enjoyed it.
So these are the movies that I watched (and re-watched) since early December:
Thor: The Dark World
Police Academy 1-7
Cloud Atlas
Total Recall
Blade Runner
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
The Hobbit 2
Casino Royale
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Clerks
(those are the ones that I can remember)
That's what she said.
The Dork Knight.
I recently watched (In between Dec and Jan):
Catching Fire
The Hobbit 2
Frozen
Immensely enjoyed them all, I mean who wouldn't enjoy princesses, a badass dragon, and a kickass heroine
Last watched:
Carrie (2013 remake)
Frozen
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2
Immensely enjoyed all 3, especially Carrie. I must be honest and admit I've never seen the original, but I don't think it would stand up well today for a first watch. The remake was really good. Great acting and cinematography all 'round.
Carrie was more thriller to me than horror. Was an excellent movie, untill it reached climax.

I thought the climax was the best part! The build-up to it was just as good. The film was carried by some very good actors. It would have been utter trash with a lower budget and z-list actors that are the norm for most horror films. From what I have gathered from the opinions I've seen online, I know I am in the minority in saying that it was one of the best films I've seen from 2013.
