I recently watched (In between Dec and Jan):

    Catching Fire
    The Hobbit 2
    Frozen

Immensely enjoyed them all, I mean who wouldn't enjoy princesses, a badass dragon, and a kickass heroine

    Last watched:

    Carrie (2013 remake)
    Frozen
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2

Immensely enjoyed all 3, especially Carrie. I must be honest and admit I've never seen the original, but I don't think it would stand up well today for a first watch. The remake was really good. Great acting and cinematography all 'round.

Carrie, as in the horror movie? Was thinking of watching of watching it, but wasnt so keen to really go for it, due to the not so great horror movies released in the past year.

Carrie was more thriller to me than horror. Was an excellent movie, untill it reached climax.

I thought the climax was the best part! The build-up to it was just as good. The film was carried by some very good actors. It would have been utter trash with a lower budget and z-list actors that are the norm for most horror films. From what I have gathered from the opinions I've seen online, I know I am in the minority in saying that it was one of the best films I've seen from 2013.

Yip the climax was indeed good, was expecting something big to happen eventually. But after the climax the movie went all downhill.. and bleh.

Judging from how it ended, I hope a 2nd one is made
