    About 42,000 police administrative staff will protest this week to demand that the SA Police Service (SAPS) honour an agreement to change their salary grades, Popcru said on Monday.

    Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (Popcru) general-secretary Nkosinathi Theledi said its members had mandated it to lead marches in all provinces across the country.

    Because that is exactly what we need, a slow week in crime solving in this country because of administrative delays due to salaries? Really irritates me when people do this without thinking of the consequences or not caring for them and how many more people it will affect.

    Ouch, 42 thousand admin staff off for a week? That's gonna cause a serious couple of headaches somewhere along, you just know it will.

    42k thousand people? Damn thats like 20+% support staff. Insane.

    10111 call centre operators, and other support services, would take part.
    In other news, crime up 500% this week.
