Doing this on my phones so its not easy getting many.
Overall seems like a step down from Grid but I'm still excited. Release is on Friday, I will try get my thoughts through this weekend.

my only gripe is this !
Much of the pre-release hype surrounding Grid 2 has been drowned out by dismay from fans that the cockpit view has been excised. It's another strange omission from the developer, although it's potentially one that shouldn't smart - the majority of players, sim-headed or otherwise, tend not to use what's a very resources-heavy mode.
What makes it disappointing is the fact the bumper cam - the like-for-like replacement for many players - is placed so low to the ground that the restricted field of view and exaggerated sense of speed make it next to useless. The hood cam is the only other alternative, though it's far from satisfactory.

I'm more put off by the lack of tracks - Codemasters are the ... masters... of DLC whoring.
I simply don't like playing games in anything other than cockpit view. I guess I'll give this one a skip then.

Well I normally use the 3rd person view so I don't mind losing the cockpit view, plus it's harder to judge the clipping points in there. Seems like a lot of players aren't impress but I'm hoping its another Internet extreme.
