Online specials: Steam, Greenman Gaming, GamersGate, etc

Guys Rebeltech are now running the Nvidia Seasons gaming Bundles with the purchase of certain Nvidia cards.

Nvidia GTX660/660TI/670/680/760

Splinter Cell Blacklist + Assassins Creed Black Flag

Nvidia GTX770/780/780Ti/Titan

Splinter Cell Blacklist + Assassins Creed Black Flag + Batman Arkham Origins

Pretty damn epic deal that. Considering the games are all AAA titles and worth about R1000 in total :D

Damn, I wanted all those games. I was just 9 months too early I guess :(

The GOG promo is absolute madness. Those guys are epic.

I'm having trouble getting mine though: "We're overwhelmed by the popularity of our service :) Please check back soon."

I'll be back...

EDIT: YES! YES! It's finally working. Viva GOG Viva!

so as you probably know, Gog has their winter sale happening at the moment, and part of that is a pick the box daily surprise. Thought it might be a good idea to post what's behind the doors.

behind door number 3 is:
Humans Must Answer 75% OFF

I got The Cat Lady @ 75% off behind door #3.
So it really is random. Guess that's gonna play havoc with your OCD...

Never got around to doing Paypal, as my debit card is a Master Card, and GG is the first site to ask for my mastercard securecode, forgot my "password/passkey/answer" and my 15 digit reset pin was on my old phone, which I do not have possession of. Next time I am writing on my registration page and keeping a copy.

Or just set up Paypal and link it to your card. While you at it just link Google Wallet to your card as well for those places that takes the one and not the other.

Don't know why people still use cards online in this day and age, esp seeing that Paypal give you an extra chargeback protection or even dispute process long after normal banks would normally tell you to go f yourself.

Here is a free game option, but you have to work for it.

Goto http://learn.code.org/
Fire up Hola.org and set your location to US

Sign up and do the entire tutorial (27 trophy's)

and then pick one of the following games:
  • Portal 2 (Steam)
  • Bejeweled 3 (Origin)
  • FIFA 13 (Origin)
  • Simcity 4 (Origin)
  • Plants VS Zombies (Origin)

You can skip all the videos.

Oh and the bonus, at the same time you get to learn the basics about computer programming. If you already a programmer then it is as easy as pie. :D
