Think you might be talking about the mutagen slots? The right side of the screen when you're at the character menu? If that's what you're talking about. The skills you put there (together with a mutagen) will give a boost to one of your stats, as long as colour of the skill matches the colour of the matugen.
As far as I can tell Adrenaline only affects your skills on the left hand side. Read the descriptions for the skills on the far right of the combat (red) skill tree.
Here's an interesting guide:

There are no spoilers or "cheats", just useful info to help you be aware of what is and isn't important.
Holy shit. I'm going to come right out and say this is the most retarded paragraph I've read today.
"Stop being angry because you were lied to. You're not entitled to the truth!"
And if you don't like it when people discuss the negative aspects of games, don't come into threads. You're not entitled to see only discussion on your own terms.
That's your opinion and you are entitled to it. I'm not saying you can't be angry because you we're lied to. I'm saying get over your anger and start enjoying the game. Please don't put words in my mouth, so to speak.
I never said I'm entitled to anything but the idea of this thread is to discuss the game. Now I get that includes what's wrong with it, but do we really need to change the whole thread into a discussion about how CDPR pissed everybody off? All I'm asking is that people try and get past the issues they have the game and at least try to enjoy it.
Can anyone tell me how to turn off the objective trials on the minimap? It doesn't seem like there is an obvious option to toggle it. Geralt does not have GPS and I don't want to be led to my objectives by the nose.
Edit: NVM, found it.
And I'm telling you to grow up. Nothing in life pisses me off so much as blind fanbois trying to stifle criticism, no matter how 'noble' the intent. You need to accept that people have differing opinions and that they can discuss them as they see fit. If you don't like it when people have discussions you don't like, don't come back to the thread. This thread is for feedback and as long as people are on topic (which discussion of CDProjekt Red is), then they're allowed to voice that feedback just like you're allowed to gush over the game. You don't have to read it.
This is one of the main reasons I hate discussing games on MyGaming. Too many pisswillies crying when you criticize their favorite games.

Why so hostile man? I'm not looking for an argument with you. So I'm a fanboy, so what? I'm entitled to my opinion just like you and in my opinion, it's a waste of time to dwell on all the issues surrounding the game. Like I said, I understand where people are coming from with their negativity. I would probably also have been pissed off if I upgraded my PC for the game and it turned out to be not all that necessary. But, I can look past the issues and enjoy the experience. All I'm saying is that people should at least try to do that. I'm not saying you can't talk about the issues but I'm seeing almost nobody talk about the actual game. If you wanna talk only about the negatives than go ahead, I never said anybody can't talk about what they want. I just asked everyone if it where possible to rather discuss the game itself a bit more.
Oh, and about the trial on the minimap, that is kind of annoying. Also looking for a way to turn it off. Best I've managed is to make the HUD smaller so I don't see unless I'm looking right at it, but it's not really a solution as the bread crumb trial is still there. I suppose one could turn off the minimap entirely (not sure), but then you will lose other stuff that you might want/need.
Pretty much...
On topic: I'm almost at level 8 doing missions around the Velen area. Just made my first kind of big decision that turned out to be not the best choice. Let's just say I pissed off a lot of people from a certain village. However, I decided before starting that I'm not gonna change any decision I make by loading a save and that I will live with the consequences. How are you guys approaching this? Do you stick with your decisions or will you replay a whole section if you don't like the outcome of something you did?
