This is awesome... Well, maybe not that much for Microsoft, but this means, that since the game mentioned is a Xbox exclusive, with a bit of modding / tweaking, it can work on Windows 7 / 8.

No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.

I think that would be the case with any game. They don't actually develop 360 exclusives on xbox's. All the games are developed on PCs.

They dev the game on a PC first then move it over to a console to scale it to the hardware limitations.

I still believe it's a bit unethical and deceitful to advertise it as a XBONE game and console yet have people play the game on a PC. What they Should have rather said was; "This title is a XBO exclusive, sadly due to limitations at the current point in time, the demo is only available on a PC while we work in porting it to the XBO" ...?

I agree, its not that big of a deal but if it were me I still would have liked to have known I was playing on a high end pc not an xbone...

I think the big issue is, reading in between the lines, that game developers who had titles on show for Sony were running on PS4 development kits that had final hardware prototypes. This was confirmed by Drive Club's dev team as well.

People are beginning to wonder just how far behind Microsoft is in development. If it turns out that the majority of game devs chose their own PCs rather than a dev kit, does it mean there aren't a lot to go around, or are they faulty somehow? Is Microsoft having yield issues from the eSRAM being added into the specifications? I've heard rumors before that TSMC and Global Foundries are having eSRAM yield issues, so it may mean that the PS4 is on schedule, whereas the Xbox One is doing a scheduled worldwide rollout because they can't get working production units fast enough.

The team working on their UI even mentioned off-hand that they'd "come really far in the last seven months."
