Cause holy crap dude........... TANK TANK TANK.The other night A guy TANKED 3 SHOTS! 3 SHOTS sniper in succession from me. it was on Crossfire. He came charging down the middle, I was sniper spot back looking over that little wall. I had some okes spectating me. I shoot him, He just keeps running. I shoot him again, he just keeps running. The guyz on my team are like
I shoot him a THIRD time yet he still keeps running. I gooi him with a nade and the impact on his noggin kills him ROFL.
But yeah back to point. Eventhough the M403A reloads quicker, and is more accurate, I just use the R700 to "try" and get rid of the fricken tanking
Here I was thinking that Internet connectivity was a nice-to-have luxury, not a Basic Need which should be protected by law.

LOl Omega. It's the term they use when you shoot somebody but he does not go down, or takes an extraorinary amount of bullets to go down.
Sometimes it borderlines on HAX as mentioned above, tanking 1 shot from a sniper is perfectly acceptable, it happens. 3 is hmmmm.......

I know what a tank is, common MMO terminology. But why does it happen in a FPS like cod? Hax?Surviving repeated aimed fire. I.e. 1 hit with a sniper rifle should kill a person. When it doesn't, it's referred to as a "tank".

Anyway, a number of reasons. Hax, strange rates on shooter/shootee side, bad aim, clever hitbox exploitation...
