Dumping of human waste unacceptable: ANC
The dumping of human waste in Cape Town International Airport's departure terminal was unacceptable, the Western Cape ANC said on Tuesday.
"Such behaviour is unacceptable and the ANC condemns it without reservation," spokesman Phillip Dexter said in a statement.
"This disgusting, pseudo-militancy is nothing more than anarchy, displaying a lack of any political or revolutionary consciousness or maturity."

Well you have to admit - it did buy them quite a bit of spotlight. Crude as hell but apparently also effective in achieving their goals.
I love how the ANC says they are gonna take disciplinary action so these poo flingers reply that the DA have infiltrated the ANCYL and that the leadership of the WC ANCYL should be disbanded

How did they even get into the airport past all the security guards and stuff to dump the waste, that is the question so it must have been an inside thing?

lol dude. airport security is a joke. i took a decent sized knife onto a plane (hand luggage) & nobody even blinked. showed up on the xray...security staff mentioned it but never inspected it let alone confiscate it. oh and that was shortly after 9/11 so everyone was on high alert - whatever that means.Originally Posted by Ichigo
Well looking at the videos the bags were big and in plain sight so not hidden or anything so anyone whos observant should have noticed so they must suck badly.

As much as people like to think, we are not even 20% close to 1st world countries when it comes to airport security. As Hav stated, it is scarily easy to get dangerous things onto a plane, nevermind just the airport. A bf of one of my friends went from CT to Jhb and then on to Durban with a Glock ....... not once discovered. Scary stuff.

I've taken a variety of sharp objects on the plane with me, usually by accident. These included scissors, nailclippers, pocketknives, etc. The complete lack of security is one of the reasons I don't like to fly in South Africa. It's pathetic.
Guess it changed a lot since I last flew to Cape Town in 2000.

Whenever we go diving I take my rig with me in my carry-on luggage. Last time I travelled with 5Kgs of batteries, 2 rigs and dive torches, no issues at OR Tambo at all. Get to Hong Kong, I'm pulling apart my torches, I'm trying to show the that a Low pressure hose is useless as a weapon and trying to explain why I have 100 AA batteries. Don't get me started on America either, all I'm gonna say is that if I worked behind the screen of those scanners, free black and white porn.
