Codemasters is preparing to announce a new rally game imminently, if a series of tweets are to be believed.
Rich Eddy, the publisher's communications director, took to his Twitter this morning to promise that a "new thing" would be revealed soon, which promises to invoke a certain amount of nostalgia.
The last rally game from the company was Dirt Showdown, which came out last year. While this could be the long-awaited Dirt 4, fans of the series have noted something interesting about the font used in the above image: it's the exact same as the one used in the older Colin McRae series of games.
While Dirt Showdown was the ninth game in the Colin McRae rally franchise, the series hasn't made use of the legendary racer's name since Dirt 2. So does this mean a HD re-release of old titles, or is this "new thing" going to mark the return of McRae's title? All will be revealed tomorrow.
