A legal spat between former president Nelson Mandela's eldest grandson Mandla and members of the family over a grave site is set to resume in the Eastern Cape High Court in Mthatha on Monday.

Mandla Mandela, who is the official head of the Madiba clan and an ANC Member of Parliament, had the remains of three family members exhumed from Mandela's home in Qunu and re-buried in his home village of Mvezo two years ago.

MAdiba wanted to be buried with his children, but in Qunu. There is talk that his ancestors are not happy about the burial of the children in Mvezo as opposed to Qunu, and this is thought to be one of the reasons why Madiba will not pass on. He cannot rest in peace while this remains unsettled.

Whether you believe in ancestral things or not, that is one of the reasons why his grandchildren are trying to sort this out once and for all.

This is some seriously messed up stuff. His wish is to be buried with his children in Qunu, and Mandla wants to move that so him and his hotel can profit from the "Tourist destination". No respect whatsoever, this is just business...

Do not take me wrong, but it sounds like they would rather want to make a display out of him once he dies. perhaps they are going to put him in a glass casket in the his hotel -- like a "sleeping beauty" display.

Just give him his wish of going to Qunu.
