I wanted to tell you about the interesting Wada test (I REALLY want to experience having half of my brain asleep!!)

Anyways, I found an interesting fact about Sodium Thiopental, a common anaesthetic we use, especially in emergencies.

Apparently, it's also called the Truth Serum. They say that lying is more complex than telling the truth, so what happens when giving a small dose of Thiopental is that only the higher cortical functions are suppressed causing the person unable to lie. This is obviously very unreliable as no formal study has been done to determine the adequate dose for truth-telling...

Also, it's being used in America (not exactly sure if Newscientist is reliable)

Though his thick Austrian accent and slow speech patterns led some to believe that the Austrian Oak was shy a few leaves, he was, in fact, a highly motivated and intelligent young man.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in business and economics, he invested his contest earnings in real estate and a mail-order bodybuilding equipment company. A millionaire before the age of 22, Arnold Schwarzenegger decided to try acting.
