The reimagined Datsun - a five-seat hatchback - will go on sale in India next year for under 400,000 rupees (about $6,670). It will also be sold in Indonesia and Russia, with the company...read more here: Datsun Go launched

We had a 2L Datsun Skyline growing up. Eventually after I finished school and got my first job, I convinced my dad to sell it so that I can borrow the money to buy my first car. (I was the only one driving around in it anyway)

No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.

Yeah, but to be fair, if it lands in SA, it comes fitted with an engine and gearbox as standard

Interestingly though, some German cars like some of VWs (ok, the GTI) are actually cheaper here than in Europe. (Plus we get leather seats as standard)

My dad's old Datsun 120Y was my student / 1st job car. It was lime coloured so my mates called it the Green Mamba / Lambourgreeny.

I'd prefer having two wiper blades, looks like this car only has one, mags are not a major issue for me

Most are the other way around, though. Go look at what a new Mercedes C180 costs here, and compare that with the price in England.

And then find out where those cars are made...
