Also each map would have to be downloaded via steam, after you sent an appreciation letter to IW for such a fantastic job, where they will send you a code to download each map. Then as soon as you pick up a new weapon or unlock a perk, then you get Disconnected with an authorization code which you have to mail to them, then they unlock your game from the VAC secured server.
Then if you Want to play the singleplayer, it will use matchmaking to record your play on a dummy level, then up or dumb down the Ai to compare with your skill. This matchmaking check happens throughout the SP campaign to make sure you play with bots of "your skill level". This also requires an internet connection to be on at all times.
When you uninstall the game, it will log your Account name and brand you as a cheater to everybody you have played with online with every map startup.
