This guy has done a pretty good job aswell, setting up a hack system to hack you(I am suspecting).
Interesting part is how smart he is, like only allowing comments he accepts to go up.

BTW.
I wouldn't recommend you actually try this as it does not make sense that dayz standalone would be 1 mb big and ontop of that they would give you a file with a password where you have to go download a password.

Actually stuff like this happens for allot of games.

Try looking for League of Legends Riot points generator or similar stuff for other games on youtube and you will see that similar videos pop up.

Edit:The particular video you posted is quite interesting.

Wonder what the file really contains.

The problem is more with all the likes and views the video has received.



The other ones are usually taken down within a week or so,usually the fraud ones only stay and are usually harmless. (usually registering in a game with the fraudsters referral link so he makes allot of ingame currency thanks to the referrals while others will lead you to phising sites that actually steals your account)

Okay i went through the files and there are no viruses,Trojans,hacks etc to be found.

The file comes in RAR format and contains 2 txt files and another Rar file with a password.

This is nothing more then a money making scheme,inside the password txt is a link that leads you to a survey site which is also a referral (a person sends you their link to the survey site and they get money for every person that fills out the survey)

I haven't checked but i think the Password RAR is just filled with crap,the server IP's are probably there to try and convince those that doubt.

The Password can take around a day or 2 to crack on a single computer and you can probably check where the IP's are from.There are allot of Bot networks that you can use to crack the password faster but they usually cost a bit and don't allow you much accessibility.

Either way it's just another scam,nothing harmful as far as i can see other then maybe stealing airtime if you used your mobile number on the survey site.

I generally consider all parasites as harmful. They're just as bad as those sangomas promising health, wealth and all sorts of crap.

A zip file inside a zip is generally to avoid virus scanners. SOME virus scanners will only go one level deep.
