I dunno hey, but story wise I might go with Thomas Was Alone. Absolute brilliant narrative which makes the game.

Even though I didnt play it that much, Eve Online. I love that losing a ship feels shit because it has value to you. The scale of the game. and a big plus for me is how much the game has improved over time. Expansions being free helps loads. Its just expensive to pay R150 a month.

Command and conquer tiberian sun. The whole game just grabbed me and I continue to play it to this day.

I can say Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth was the best game ever when lanning(sp?) with friends .

The "bestest" game that comes to mind is GTA 5 for me

There's not 1 game that I can honestly say is the 'best I've ever played'. The first PC game I bought myself was AoE II, I have good memories of those times so it's ranked quite high on my list.
Games I spent countless hours on is Diablo II, UT2004, Warcraft III. Good times!
My current favourite is probably Bioshock, but that's only because I'm busy with it at the moment...

I can't let that one stand. Serious Sam was the best LAN game ever !

My fav has gotta be The Last of Us, but before The Last of Us it was definitely Mass Effect 2.
