Thread: Your Gaming Audio Setup

  1. #1

    Default Your Gaming Audio Setup

    Well howdy,

I've decided to start this thread to see what audio gear people are using. We can use this thread to discuss different gear, headphones and amps, speakers, headsets etc.

It's good to hear people's thoughts on the different gear and how it has benefited them with their gaming.

I'll start. My setup may seem quite overboard for gaming but I do use it for studio work as well. The headphones are used for monitoring so the response is quite flat which is extremely helpful in Battlefield 3. The explosions aren't too loud and I am able to pickup any and all footsteps and from what direction as well.

Your opponents in Battlefield must hear how gay they are and how you slept with their sisters, in excellent quality!!!

Hahaha that's exactly what they hear. Those headphones are phenomenal. Especially since I swapped an old Logitech 5.1 speaker setup for them.

Do you prefer using speakers when you game? Those are nice headphones though. I demoed them once in a store and was quite happy with them.

    For my 5.1 pleasure - there's this:

    My Stereo Set:
Got it from a friend some time ago.
They're a decent set. I would like more bass though.

I had the same speaker setup. Great positional software.
