    You can already launch the steam BPM overlay when pressing the guide button on the existing Xbox controller.

    I love mine so i really hope that make it forward compatible with the newer games as well as making the new one backward compatible.

    i just really hope they bring out a WIRED edition. call me old school but changing batteries sucks. a wireless one will also require some dongle on my PC, no doubt...

    You'd probably have to have windows 8,I have a feeling MS will say you need windows 8,so that sales on that OS will go up.

    The dongle is also plug and play, synced it once on day one and never again, just turn it on and have fun

    Yeah fan of the wired controller on the pc, use my wireless ones on the xbox. In regards to the new controller, this is good news, even though I thought it was a given.

    I'm sure it would have been a given even if MS didnt have a tendancy to state the obvious. Maybe they feel the need to spell things out after the recent PR disaster at E3.

    I think they getting desperate to find something sony cant one up them on.
