Nvidia outs GTA 5 for PC?

WCS: We get a console port that may need a bit of polishing. I'd be surprised no patches will be needed when it eventually arrives on PC.

i cannot remember the last game that did NOT get a patch or two... it is par for the course these days...

Bastardos...either they're carefully covering it up because Microsoft and Sony had a talking to them or it was just an honest early slip (because it will eventually come to PC but perhaps not quite this year still).

UPDATE: In a statement this morning, Nvidia has said that the below statement on its investor call was made in error.
"This statement was made with the intent of expressing enthusiasm for the games industry in general, and was not intended to represent specific knowledge possessed by NVIDIA," it reads. "NVIDIA does not have information on any possible PC version release of Grand Theft Auto or its availability. We deeply regret the error."

I think it was a slip, and Rockstar probably gave them some grief about it, so they tried to repair some of the "damage".

This is just so sad. I do not have a console (except Wii mainly for my cherubs), so it looks like I might have to wait a lot longer for this
