We had multiple rain spiders in my friend's room a few months ago. I actually brought my shoes inside because I didn't want the beetle on the ground near them nesting inside... The rain spiders (huntsmen) here get seriously big too...entirely harmless though. Named the last one tiger because of stripes...unfortunately they gtfo after a week or so.Thought I had a pet that didn't need feeding/attention there...
