A 10% increase on an already faster CPU...

Its not a bad chip, the Core i5-4430. Your games will certainly run well and I don't think you'll have any issues with it. The price difference between the i5-4430 and the i5-4670K is quite big though.

    From Computersonly:
    Core i5-4430 @ R2295
    Core i5-4670K @ R2879 (difference of R584)

    Core i5-4430 bundle @ R4699
    Core i5-4670K bundle @ R5399 (difference of R700)

I'm not so sure what RAM they gave you and how much the shipping cost, but it does look like they were somewhat fair in their pricing, at least. Either way, they still made a little more profit than they would have if they had the K-series chip in there.

Well, seems like i did lose out quite a bit, would have much preferred the "k" series. but anyway, im just gonna make he best of what i can . im putting my pc together and i realised i dont have enough spacers and screws. anyone know where i could get some spares? i am not using a new case thats why some were missing.

Go to any PC repair shop and ask them for some spares. Us techies always have craploads of spare screws and spacers lying around.

Then you must learn to keep all your small pc parts, screws and brackets store and organized neatly in a place close to your pc...

So I just put together all my hardware. Everythings in the case. Time to power up... system turns on but monitor stays black... no signal. ive got my screen plugged straight into the motherboard. The computer runs loud for a bit then just idles. for some reason when i touch the case i can feel electricity. never happened before, could it be because its on a tiled floor? Does anyone know of why my pc could possibly not be turning on?
