    Na you don't need to shout. Normal talking volume is fine for the mic. Guaranteed. I used it before I was given a headset.

    Just get one of those logitech skype headsets...

    Slightly uncomfortable, but the mic quality makes up for it by far.

    And they are cheap

    I have some Sennheiser HD202's which are really nice in terms of sound quality, so that Zalman clip on would be nice, but at the same time I find those headphones get uncomfortable after a while so I usually use speakers.

    I was looking at something like the Logitech G330's as they go behind the head and that will be more comfortable.

    I'm not a fan of the G330's design. I found that the plastic would hurt my ears. To each his own though. And those HD 202s do get quite uncomfortable after long periods of time.

    Yeah I think that Zalman mic is a good thing and it's a pretty decent price so if it doesn't work how I need it then it's not too much of a loss.

    I meant a standalone one! Jeez man...
    (A desk mic that is good quality, not too cheap..)
