Careful, your PC could be part of a botnetwork.

    Download Microsoft security essentials.

Still a cracked OS system is the last thing you should have,if a cracked game has a virus or something then you can still salvage some things because it can't mess up everything.A cracked OS with a virus however has access to everything.

Well.cracked OS is always an issue somewhere along the line...not good idea to advertise either :P

However i have used tis on many occasions to kill virus that prevent me from installing anitvirus, so some sorta protection software:

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ it may however refuse to help due to pirated OS...worth a try tho.

download malwarebytes as well and run full scan, MBAM is awesome software and its free Should be on every gamers pc by default imho

Failing that, looks like someting is trying to autorun in the background and effect changes...so check startup folder, temp folder etc...

I have recently had bogus antivirus softwares installing via drive-by-download on users pc, and because it doest actually "install" it doesnt get blocked by trend...however this software block me from accessing task manager, msconfig etc..basically anything that i could use to kill the process. So needs some creative thinking to track it down and kill process nothing picks it up, and the actual exe hides in the appdata hidden folder, under some obscure name .exe , so maybe see if you can acces your task manager or not...will quickly let you know whats going on.
I always run an administrator and a main account, cause this sort of virus would only run in the current profile, so can kill proccess via another admin profile...

This should be a last resort. If your anti-virus is good enough, it needn't be a problem, I should think.

You are mistaken. AVs are pretty useless - due to the fingerprinting they are always at least a step behind. Anybody with half an IT education can write code that sails past your AV in record time. Hell I've written logging code that sails past AVs (and keylogging detection software)...and I'm in finance not IT.

At best AVs will catch the most common bugs out there, but ultimately judgement & skill is the only thing that will save you.

I should add though that everyone should be using an AV. Retarded as they are, they do provide *some* protection & every bit helps.

Some are much better than others...I have been using Kaspersky for a long time now, one of the best imho.

Pain in the ass in beginning as it wants permission set for everything that happens, but its one of the best I have used for a long time... and im in the IT security game
