If you can see it in disk management, right click on it and change the drive letter allocation. Change it to something like T:

When it asks you if you are sure, say yes. Then it should do the normal autorun sequence and you should be able to see it in My Computer.

LOL. Have you tried checking connections, checking partitions (If you have any), trying to repair etc?

I once had a External HDD that always said repair. It worked for a little while then everytime I plugged it in it slowed down the computer until it crashed. It was faulty...

It was already empty. I already had copied all the data to my pc. Whenever I borrow anyones flash drive or HDD copy all data to my pc to be safe for when things like this happen. You got me intrigued I while back I was trying to install Linux (ubuntu 13.04) on my pc but I kept on getting a error gave up I got in Junes PC format. Is it any good.

Good thing that you back up your data regularly...

Ubuntu is good (If that is what you mean), but it is good for certain things - not really for gaming. If you are using windows and like windows applications, and you are not going to utilise the features of linux then you probably won't want to switch over to Ubuntu (or any linux distro for that matter).
