Well, to be fair, I stepped into a nest of twats in my first week here.

But I don't really mind people being twats. What I've noticed about this community is that it seems nobody actually discusses games. Everyone just makes posts about how excited they're for this game, how awesome that game was, etc. As an example, a thread for a certain game will pop up, seven people will say they're excited, 7 people will say they're apprehensive, then one person will make an elaborate post detailing the specific aspects that influenced his opinion, and then the thread dies immediately after. The discussion doesn't go past that. Dammit! I like in-depth discussions on games!

So participate and try and change folks minds. It's a community after all which by implication means many folk participating for many reasons.
