    May the Wii become merely a footnote on the pages of history!

    There just aren't that many good games being released for it. Which sucks a bit because I can think of so many good kind of games that they can make for the platform.

    Agreed.

    I love my Wii, but other than the software produced by Nintendo and perhaps one or two other publishers, there is an awful lot of shovelware on this platform.

    I'd expect the sales to decrease a little more and then pick up towards December. There are some things in development for the Wii that should be pretty cool - people have seen the benefits of using the motion technology and I guess it takes time to actually develop for the platform. Not too worried yet.

    Most of the Mario stuff (Cart, Galaxy, Paper, Olympics) are decent and from what I've heard Harry Potter is quite decent.

    I think the platform appeals more to the casual, fun gamer than the hardcore death & kill gamer which could be quite a huge market.

    @Saruman: I'll pretend you didn't say that
    Dib: You can't make me look! I'll just shut my eyes.
    Zim: Oh, you'll open them. You have to breath sometime.
    Dib: No, I - Wait... What do eyes have to do with breathing?

    The novelty has worn off when it comes to the Wii...also,they should think of a new name

    New ideas are only new so long, think this is a sign the wii doesn't have its same appeal, I rate it would've lasted longer if it had been released with 1-1 motion control.

    Parents bought one. I got tired of it within a few days, but they're still happily playing on with their friends, so that's nice.

    I did expect the sales to slow down though.
    I was surprised that the Wii sold that much in the first place. I don't know if anything is planned, but they gotta come up with something new again or I think they'll be in trouble.
