I might actually Give this a bash if they bring it to pc as well with the new expansion, I decided not to play the game until they put in an offline mode

I read that article twice now and I don't see any indication that they are considering bringing offline play to the PC. In fact, the article states: "And with regards to the online requirements and Auction House, Martens explained that those features are “not going anywhere”."

I don't know about you guys, but that says to me that the online requirement is not going anywhere? Someone please explain to me what I am missing.

Well we talking about the expansion having the possibility of bringing those features in since thats how they will most probably market it so they find it pointless to do it now.

I dont get why you want to play this offline when the game it self is determined over the AH. I dont get why you want to play the game alone when you can go in a public game. D3 is so boring when you jam alone, playing with friends or a public game makes it a bit more playable.

That is purely a matter of opinion. I don't feel the same way that you do at all. Diablo II was awesome to play (with or without friends) and it didn't have an auction house. The auction house can (and should) be left out of the game as it skews drop rates for the global economy. This has been discussed many times over, but the bottom line is, some players want an offline mode (I am one of them) and the rest don't care. There is no reason not to provide an offline mode to PC players that want it as the consoles have that option.
