Sure, will try out my noobness.

Are the server details hosted on RomeoMike? Do I need to register on the forum to get it? Should prolly also see it in the ingame server browser right?

    EDIT: I've registered on RomeoMike

    Gotcha, approved

TS details are there, server details etc. PR server is not password protected and available in game browser.

    A3 access requires...initiation

I started the single player campaign after going through the training. Graphics is a bit too much for my old machine, but its ok. First had everything set to low, but I see when its set to standard with other AA set a bit higher, its runs he same.

First night I played the single player campaign, I died several times, got fed up and left it.

Played again some last night, paid more attention to sticking to cover, the various stances you get for ArmA 3, just more conscious and cautious about what and how I do things. I knew before hand it is not a gung ho type game like BF or CoD, so its not that didnt know it would be, but just having to go through it for the first time.

Did a few levels and its a really satisfying feeling, you have to put more into it than any other FPS I have played.

Sorry for reviving this dead thread but is anyone still playing Arma 3? I see Gamersinc started up a new server that frankie made in one of his vids that looks pretty cool, there's just a couple of gigs of mods you need to download.
    Corsair Carbide Spec-01, MSI Z97Z SLI Krait ed., Seasonic S12II 520w, Gigabyte Geforce GTX 970, Mushkin Blackline 8gb, i5 4690k, 1 TB

I have been very tempted to buy this game quite a few times. But between playing CSGO, BF and AA is it really worth it?

I believe the learning curve to be quite steep. Also it's for the hardcore, this is no Battlefield game. Teamwork and communication is key (if you're playing it the way it was designed as a mil-sim). If you're gonna role play and play the part of a soldier and take part is scenarios.

I would love to get into it and have been tempted many a time to buy it, but the fact is I don't have a group to play with nor the time to invest in something hardcore like this.

That is the Exact Reason why i Play Americas Army though. For the Realism and Tactical feel of the game. Not just Running around and shooting like a crazy thing.
