    Question Arma III

I have always loved this franchise, though I have never been involved in the DayZ side of things.

My question is this; is there a enough of a local community to warrant me getting this game?
It's one of those games that you need friends to play along with, as it seems kinda pointless flying solo.

    Opinions / Thoughts ?

I haven't really went into Dayz all that much in Arma 2, I've always loved the single player campaign so much. I also spend way too many hours than I should in the mission editor, and I've been a fan of such editing since the early days of Operation Flashpoint. At the end I do believe you'll get sufficient entertainment from the game if you get it, even if you do not go into DayZ. I knew of a community of Arma players in SA that teamed up and did missions over weekend in the standard game, but not sure how active they are anymore

    www.zulu-alpha.co.za

ZA has a local active community with A3 if interested in playing milsim style co-op missions.
There are open nights for more casual players, with training / missions on certain days for ZA members.
Great group and new missions are always being introduced, with the occasional TvT!

Server is updated with altis and new missions for this map are being introduced.
To join the ZA team, need to go through selection which will put you through your paces, but hellva worth it!

if you use playwith6 it's pretty easy, does it all for you, just got to link to the ZA repo and automatically will download any updates when they there, plus all the mods needed.

Have issue's with most the downloads with 6 that the files aren't signed so can't login to server.Rather stick with what is packaged in ARMA3, create's less Signed issue's.
