I have to admit teachers used to give the boys hidings and not us girls. But if they told my parents I wasnt behaving the wooden spoon came out and yes, to this day I am thankful they did believe in spanking us because if I look at the kids that I grew up with with out that "rukked hand uit" and became wasteful, disrespectful people.

As I posted on fb for syco:
Problem is here I dont fear them (aka the kids in SA), in the UK I would cross the road if a group of 3 or more came down the road because you never knew what they would do. I stood up to a group once, they where harassing an on old lady on a bus, pushing her being verbally abusive and so forth. There was about 7 adults on a bus filled with school kids. I stood up and grabbed two of them by the ear and twisted. Two days later I was given a verbal warning by the police for abusing the kids. They might have stopped harassing the old lady. But fortunately for me the old lady went to the police station to report the kids which is why I only got a warning.

Yar Murph it was a very sad day indeed.

Ironically I was given free beer at the local pub for a month since it was the pub owners mum whom I helped out.

These kids must carry on acting like this. There are lots of us making our way to the top who will need gardeners and car guards to tend to our needs.

I don't understand how he could keep his cool like that. Really props to the guy for handling it in such professional manner.

OMFG i feel s sorry for this teacher. Man Idk how he just kept his cool big up dude.

For the kids if it was me i would have snapped.

Idk man the kids today. Im still young but F$%k me i how can a whole class disrespect and elder like that. Going on cheering that punk ass kid on. Kids today have it so bad due to not knowing what cause and effect is. I was still beat at school by teachers when i was young and it shows. when i told my parents i was hit in school they asked why then they did the same to me then lol. I dont find it bad because i knew it was wrong. Kids these days do something wrong they get "demerit points" that mean jack because they ither dont go or they have to wait till 5 anyway. They dont know what discipline is thinking school is a joke and the teachers are wrong and they right. what is even more messed up is when the kid went home the teacher most likely got flak for taking the bag for what ever reason it was.

Really hope the youth learns not to be more f$%ked up like it is now. As Voicy said we need more grunt labor, but even then I would not want to use them.

I wonder what would have happened to the teacher had he lost cool.
The teacher would end up in jail and the little brat would get therapy and be told that it's not his fault.

Fckin hell. We had some wild ones at our school but at least the school had options. Parents tend to see the light after you explain to them in no uncertain terms that the kid is better served by other schools. One didn't catch the hint & sued (with a BS argument)..which to the best of my knowledge has never ever happened before in 100+ years. School's powers that be freaked out & rolled in legal resources that would put the fear of god in anyone. Bloodbath in court. Nobody tried that route since.

I pity the principals of gov/model C schools though...they don't have any solid options in cases like these. Sucks having to deal with a-hole children and having both your hands tied behind your back.
