Suspected robber shot dead
A suspected robber has been shot dead in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga police said on Saturday.
Two men had entered a hardware store on Friday and held employees at gunpoint, said Brigadier Selvy Mohlala.
"They demanded money [and] in the process they shot and injured a 36-year-old woman employed as a cashier".
The woman later died at hospital.
The robbers took an undisclosed amount of money from the till and ran off.
