    Former Springbok rugby player Joost van der Westhuizen's attorney has launched a court application to prevent the publication of a book about his marriage to Amor Vittone, Beeld reported.

    Ferdi Hartzenberg, Van der Westhuizen's attorney, said the health of his client, who has advanced Motor Neuron Disease, (MND) could be adversely affected by the publication of the book, written by journalist Gavin Prins.

    I feel for the guy, he should be remembered for his rugby not for his socks :/

    Ja, wtf is up with that?
    Last I saw he was in a virtually vegetable state physically.

    But I also dont think people should be able to publish a book about you if you dont want them too. Dont care who you are.

    Why not?!? Its like news stories. You can't prevent anyone from publishing one about you...but if they publish something inaccurate then you can sue them.

    That was what I read somewhere about it so not entirely sure how true it is
