All it takes to scare multichoice is one old lady phoning from Pofadder and they'll jump through hoops to remove whatever "offended" you. Multichoice is hardly a decent example of an online petition being a success![]()
Depends on whether multiplayer is a big part of the game. Sitting on empty servers isn't fun - so little choice on MP games.
For SP the clever money is on buying later - everything is better. Bugs ironed out, complete set of DLCs, and price.
I guess it depends though. I'm cool with having a blast playing 1 year old AAA grade titles. Right now I'm jamming Skyrim, with a bit of Dishonored & Anno mixed in. After that probably Tomb Raider. All pretty decent titles...despite bargain bin hunting on steam.
If you've got gaming friends on your case bugging you about why you're not playing the latest greatest or there is some other pressure on you then you'll just have to bite the bullet and pay 400% what I'm paying. (My condolences)
The other factor that contributes is backlog. I've got so many untouched games on Steam that I really can't justify anything other than AAA grade @ 75% off to myself.
